BLAINE & REMINGTON

INTRODUCING

The Bridal Party

BROOKLYN BORDANO,

Maid of Honor

Remy and Brooklyn met on Brooklyn’s first day of work in the Trauma ICU at BUMC in Dallas when Brooklyn walked up and asked Remy where to go.

They quickly bonded while on night shift and soon found themselves exploring and making the most of post-grad with road trips to the beach, various Dallas sporting events, and one (failed) attempt at teaching Remy how to snow ski.

MEGAN HANSON,

Bridesmaid

Megan and Remy met on the first day of French 1 at Keller High School with Madame Curry. They sat next to each other and continued to for the next 3 years of French throughout high school.

They became fast friends as Remy infiltrated the swim team group Megan was a part of, despite not being on the swim team. Megan and Remy are almost the same person in many ways. She has been her longest friend! Even though going to school 10 hours apart and Megan finishing up pharmacy school and residency up north, distance has never been on their side. But it has never changed the way they can pick up conversation like they just left French class—except the conversations are in English, obviously.

BESS ROBERTS,

Bridesmaid

Bess and Remy definitely met at some point after pledging Chi Omega at the University of Arkansas in the Fall of 2017, but were mere acquaintances until their friendship truly began on January 14th, 2018 (Remy’s 19th birthday). Bess messaged in the PC ‘17 GroupMe early that morning asking if anyone wanted to go to church with her. Being a little homesick, as she was away from home for the first time on her birthday, Remy messaged Bess and they went to church! Remy did not tell Bess it was her birthday and she later found out on Instagram. She may still be mad about it to this current day—oops! After that, they spent almost everyday together and Remy was an almost-constant houseguest at Bess’ house when Remy lived in the Chi O house.

ABBY RYAN,

Bridesmaid

Again, Remy and Abby most definitely met and knew of each other their freshman year at Arkansas, but did not become the friends they are today until the beginning of sophomore year, circa 2018.

Bess and Abby moved into a house for their sophomore year on Nettleship Street, and, as mentioned above, Remy and Bess spent a lot of time together. Naturally, Bess, Remy, and Abby soon became a trio and had too much fun goofing around, going out, and calling the Hogs!

JESSICA HANSON,

Bridesmaid

Remy met Jessica as “Megan’s little sister” at some point when she was in high school. Little did she know the bond these two would have when Jessica decided to go to Arkansas!

Remy rushed Jess hard during sorority recruitment, and bid day 2019 was the best day ever getting to pick this one up! They became sisters in more ways than one and it only got better from that day on! Jess kept Remy young as a junior. They spent many afternoons in Remy's Chi O bunk being silly and talking about the latest gossip—something they later reciprocated in Jessica's bunk when she lived in the house! They spent a lot of late nights studying in the chapter room after Jessica switched her major to Nursing (with maybe a little persuasion from Remy)! And when they found out school was shutting down for COVID, Jessica came running into Remy's room to wake her up from a nap and they went and got pie together to process—a random memory Remy will always cherish!

MADELINE URBAN-COOK,

Bridesmaid

As Madeline is Blaine’s sister, Remy and her had been planning to meet for some time! They finally scheduled and met at the most interesting of places: a glow-in-the-dark Halloween-themed mini-golf course, at a strip mall, in Frisco, TX… in July. They went on a double date with their significant others and had the best time playing and spending the afternoon together. From then, they have only gotten closer: going on trips to Notre Dame, making fun of Blaine together, and, most recently, helping Remy in the wedding planning process.

INTRODUCING

The Groom's Party

CHASE COBURN,

Best Man

Blaine and Chase are long time family friends and grew up together in their hometown of Van Alstyne, TX.

They became friends in the third grade when Chase threw up all over Blaine’s desk! The two have been best friends ever since then, sharing countless memories with trips to visit Chase when he lived in DC; summers in Ouray, CO; and many nights hanging out on the patio in VA.

EASTON CLARKSON,

Groomsmen

Blaine and Easton are both West Texas A&M alumni and were junior year roommates. They had plenty of fun when they lived together, with many get-togethers at their apartment with friends.

Blaine says, “I showed Easton how to be an adult and clean.” Remy says, “Hmm… interesting.”

CHASE WILSON,

Groomsmen

Blaine and Chase Wilson grew up together in their hometown of Van Alstyne, TX, first meeting in elementary school.

They spent their high school years together playing football and were freshman year roommates at WT. This is the actual last photo Blaine can find of just him and Chase Wilson… so they will need to take an updated pic at the wedding!

RYAN STARRIT,

Groomsmen

Blaine and Ryan are both West Texas A&M alumni.

Blaine says him and Ryan “randomly became good friends in the dorm sophomore year of college” and then he proceeded to show Remy a bunch of funny pictures and videos. Blaine and Ryan went to the Notre Dame vs. A&M game together in College Station in 2024 and Blaine proudly wore his ND gear in the student section. Thankfully, the game went in the Irish’s favor and Blaine walked out unscathed.

ZANE MADISON,

Groomsmen

Blaine and Zane grew up together in their hometown of Van Alstyne, TX, first becoming friends at church during confirmation class.

Zane played football at WT and Blaine was able to pretend he was on the football team too. Zane, Blaine, and the Chases (Chase Wilson and Chase Coburn) have remained good friends for over 10 years. And within the last year, they are all back to living within 30 minutes of each other again!

COLTON COBURN,

Groomsmen

Blaine and Colton grew up together as family friends. Blaine is best friends with Colton’s older brother, Chase, who is also Blaine’s Best Man.

Colton and Blaine went on many family vacations together to Ouray, CO throughout the years. They spent some time together in the 80-year-old haunted house Blaine was renting when Colton was at Clarendon College and Blaine was working in Vernon, TX post-grad.
